AdoreStudio Ltd is committed to respect and protect the privacy of everyone who uses our games, website and all related services which we may provide to you from time to time (“Services”). In this document, we refer to AdoreStudio Ltd as “AdoreStudio” “us”, “we” or “our” and we refer to you as “you” and “your”.

As set out in the terms and conditions relating to our Services, you must be at least 13 years old to access and use our Services.

What information does AdoreStudio Ltd collect about you?

Cookies


We use cookies and other similar technologies. Cookies are small files which store some information on your computer or mobile device. IP Addresses

AdoreStudio Ltd may also collect your IP address for safety and security purposes. An IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer every time you log on to the Internet.

Log Files


Other non-personal information collected by AdoreStudio Ltd is in the form of log files that record website activity, including how many “hits” a particular web page is getting (a.k.a., “click-through data”). For example, log file entries are generated every time a visitor clicks the “Games” icon on our site. Through the use of log files, we may also collect certain demographic information such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using (e.g., Windows 8 or Mac OS), and the domain name of your Internet service provider.

Payment Information


When you purchase Services on our website, we may collect certain payment information from you on behalf of our payment service providers, but this information is temporarily cached in a way that is unreadable by AdoreStudio. When you purchase items via our apps (such as those you can purchase in the App Store or on Google Play) we do not collect or store any payment information from you.

How will AdoreStudio Ltd use your Personal Information?


You agree that we (or a supplier or group company acting on our behalf and only under our instructions) may use your Personal Information for the purposes of contacting you, for example as part of customer service or to send you updates about our Services; managing your account and relationship with us and improving your experience when you use our Services; research, surveying, and engaging with you, for example by sending you communications (including by email) for these purposes; marketing and promotion of our Services or related products, for example sending you communications (including by email) for these purposes on our, or a third party's behalf. For example, we might send you information about merchandise relating to our Services If you do not want us to use your data in this way please let us know by contacting us at support@adoregames.com; to create reports, analysis or similar services for use by us for the purposes of research or business intelligence, for example to track potential problems or trends with our Services; preventing cheating, crime or fraud. We may also need to pass your information to fraud prevention agencies and other organizations involved in crime and fraud prevention; and as otherwise expressly set out in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Interaction with third party social networks or platforms


We will only share your data with third parties (for example, our group companies or suppliers): with your consent (including as set out in this Privacy Policy); as reasonably necessary in order to provide the Services to you (for example, by providing your Personal Information to suppliers we may use to fulfill the Services or to communicate with you); where it is necessary to carry out your instructions (for example, to process a payment instruction we must provide your Personal Information to our payment processors); where your data is on an anonymous and aggregated basis, meaning you could not be personally identified from it; when you submit information as part of a competition or otherwise interact with our social media channels (for example, by providing a testimonial about one of our Services) we may publish the information you submitted, alongside your name and home country on our website and social media channels; as we reasonably believe is permitted by law or regulation; in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms and conditions and/or any other agreement with you. We will not sell or rent your information to any third party outside of these circumstances.

You may allow our Services to interact with a third party social network or platform, which will provide data about you to us. These applications or websites are created and maintained by a third party which is not a part of, or controlled by AdoreStudio. You should ensure that you read their terms of service and privacy policies to understand how they treat your data and what data they might share with us.

You understand that where you allow your account with us to interact with any third party social network or platform, we may share data about you with your contacts (and vice versa) in order that you may enjoy playing socially. This data includes your name, your social media profile picture and your scores and/or progress in our games.

You can make changes to what data a third party social network or platform shares with us, or stop our Services interacting with that social network or platform by adjusting your settings with that third party provider, however, you may find you are not able to enjoy all of the same features of our Services.

For how long will AdoreStudio Ltd retain your information?


We will retain your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as needed to provide you with Services. We may retain your Personal Information after you have closed any account you have with us or after we have ceased providing Services to you if retention of your Personal Information is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes between members, prevent fraud, cheating or abuse, or enforce this Privacy Policy or any other agreement we may have with a user.

The protection of your Personal Information


The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We maintain appropriate technical and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, use and all other unlawful forms of processing of the data in our possession. We use the same level of skill in protecting your Personal Information as other similar games developers. However, since the internet is not a completely secure environment we cannot guarantee that information you transmit via our Games will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our safeguards.

Legal matters


If any court or other competent authority finds any of the terms of this Privacy Policy to be invalid or unenforceable, the other terms of this Privacy Policy will not be affected. This Privacy Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England. Any dispute arising in connection with this Privacy Policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England unless you choose the courts of your home country. We are constantly innovating and looking for new ways to improve our Services and our games. We may therefore amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect such improvements or any other changes to our business. Please check back from time to time to ensure that you are aware of these changes. If you object to any of the changes you should immediately stop using our Services. Your continued use of this site will signify your acceptance of these changes.

EU Residents


This section sets out rights applicable to you if you are an individual located in the European in connection with your personal information and how we handle it. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us via any of the methods set out in the Contact Us section below. To make such a request, please provide sufficient information for us to determine if this applies to you, attest to the fact that you are a EU resident.  You must include your full name, email address, and postal address in your request.

 

Those rights include:


Right of access. You have a right to know what information we hold about you and in some cases to have the information communicated to you. If you wish to exercise this right please contact us letting us know that you wish to exercise your right of access and what information, in particular, you would like to receive. We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with any information. Please note that we may not be able to provide all the information you ask for, for instance, if the information includes personal information about another person. Where we are not able to provide you with information that you have asked for, we will endeavor to tell you why. We will try to respond to any request for a right of access as soon as possible, but we will always do so within 1 month of receipt of your request and verification of your identity.

Data deletion. In some circumstances, you have a right to have some of the personal information that we hold about you deleted. Should you wish to have any information about you deleted, please Contact Us using the information below. Please note that in order to process your request you must delete our games from your mobile devices and clear our cookies from any device where you have played our games in a web browser. Where we delete personal information about you, we may still retain some or all of that information for other purposes such as maintaining financial records, protecting or enforcing legal rights, maintaining marketing suppression lists or for technical reasons such as maintaining technical security or our database integrity. We may also retain your information in an anonymized form. In some instances, personal information about you that is visible through gameplay such as username, avatar, your high scores, and any chat messages may be cached on other players’ devices and we may not be able to remove or update that data from those devices, for example, if that device is not connected to a wifi network.

Account deactivation. If you have created an account with us, you can ask us to deactivate that account by contacting us using the information below. We may ask you for other information before we are able to deactivate your account. That information might include information about your mobile device. Other steps you should take should you wish to completely deactivate your account include disassociating your Facebook account from our mobile games and deleting our games from your mobile devices. Please note that if you completely deactivate your account all your progress in our games and any unspent virtual items, such as Gold Bars or Boosters will be lost and we may not be able to restore them in the future.

Data portability. In some circumstances, you may have the right to request that data which you have provided to us is provided to you, so you can transfer this to another data controller.

Restriction of processing. In some cases, you may have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data, such as when you are disputing the accuracy of your data held by us.

Right to object. You have the right to object to the processing of personal data about you which is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests (see Legal Bases below).

 

Children


Our Services are not directed to children (usually considered to be under the age of 13, depending on the country where you reside). We also do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children through our websites, games, or applications. If you are the parent or guardian of a child and you believe that we have inadvertently received Personal Information about your child, please contact us as described in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy and we will delete the information from our records.
